Venice was never depicted with more details and flamboyance than by the Italian painter Canaletto (1697-1768). The Villa Vauban Museum
will highlight his work in the "Confrontations" exhibition, from July 2018 to March 2019. For this exhibition, we have created a documentary video
about Venice in the 18th century through the eyes of Canaletto.
This ambitious video with an inspiring soundtrack by Julie Cooper, brings to life Canaletto's most famous paintings. It was entirely created "in house" using 2D/3D animation and compositing.
You can see the complete documentary at the Villa Vauban Museum from July 2018 to March 2019. Please visit www.villavauban.lu for further information.
